  1. I don’t like to wait, and I don’t want my patients to have to wait for me. Your patients come to their appointment on time, so you should see them on time.
  2. Sometimes you might lose a patient due to not seeing patients who are late and that is OK, your other patients will appreciate being seen on time and not late because a patient before them was late.

    Thank you, Dr. Samuel, for this session. It was very informative. The last pearl you mentioned, was ideal: Don’t see late patients, especially if it’s a long procedure while other patients are on time and waiting. Also, if there’s a “hole” in the schedule, to not book BIG procedures. I’m guilty of that especially when you’re considering productions. But the burnout afterward is not worth it. I like the idea of bonuses and incentives for team members as well as patients who are actually on time. I think this could definitely make the difference in a well-run dental practice.
